Replacement for Gloworm Mastermind Timeswitch

by bruffers » Sat Apr 06, 2013 1:46 pm

Hi I am after a bit of help
My Gloworm Mastermind timeswitch (the clock bit) has stopped working but I can still manually turn it on and off on the unit.

I have seen a previous post that suggests a new timeswitch so I bought a CentaurPlus C17 Single Channel Timeswitch from B&Q and although the back plate and front fit exactly I cant get the boiler to fire up - I am wondering if I need one that has a switch to turn off and on or if Ive just bought the wrong type

Can anyone recommend what I need to buy or if there is a direct replacement for the Gloworm Mastermind that I can get from anywhere as they dont seem to make this anymore
Boiler is ancient but still going strong (floor standing) so dont want to mess with it!
Thanks in advance

The Glowworm Mastermind is a two channel timer (Heating and Hot Water); the C17 is a single channel timer. You have bought the wrong timer.

You need the C27.
