Replacement TRV

by parkejr » Mon Jun 28, 2010 10:12 pm

Hi,

I have two radiators with TRVs that no longer work. I took them off, and recycled them, but now I can't find a replacement that fits.

I've attached a photo of the remaining bit of the radiator valve, I was wondering if someone could recomment a TRV that would fit with this, or perhaps an adaptor that would allow a Danfoss valve to fit?

Many thanks,

Jeff.

I doubt if you will be lucky enough to find a direct replacement. You will almost certainly have to convert the odd valve to the traditional type which ought not to be too difficult.

If you know the make you may find one that'll fit, manufacturers tend to use same fittings and threads for years.
