Replacing a light fitting....and earth is too short....HELP?

Post by jellytots2007 » Fri Oct 05, 2007 11:41 am

I am currently (well a friends boyfriend is for me) trying to replace one 3 plate spot light with another...but the current one doesn't use the earth wire...but the new one needs it....which wouldn't be a proplem apart from the wire has been cut v short.

Is there any way to extend it?????

JELLYTOTS

TRY A 5 AMP CONNECTOR BLOCK AND USE EARTH SLEEVING TO COVER EARTH WIRE. ISOLATE SUPPLY WHILE WORKING
