Replacing hot water system

by nscuddlybear » Wed Oct 27, 2010 10:13 pm

I have header tank in loft and hot water boiler in one of my bedrooms. Would like to change to just one boiler downstairs. The current boiler costs me a fortune to heat. Can this be done? Probably been the same since house was built.

To have just a boiler with no tanks it would have to be a combi - combi's are not suitable for all installations - it depends really on the number of bathrooms/water outlets that could be used at any one time - any more than one - then a combi is no good.
