i am thinking of replacing my old wooden floor with a new concrete one.does anybody know if this can be done, and if so a rough estimate to the cost. ( room size is 6m x 4m )
Cost cant be done on line as there are too many variables but yes, 99% of the time it can be done. It will involve removing the existing and either building up the ground level underneath or reducing it to get the required depth for a sub base, insulation, damp membrane and concrete. See our project on ground floor slabs to get some idea of the construction involved then speak to three or 4 builders for quotes.
