Hi, I have overboarded my ceiling and skimmed with plaster; but it has dried ripply and uneven. I have emulsioned it and it still shows. I want to use a textured emulsion as I cannot face anyfurther plastering - it's a big room. Which type of product should I use? thanks in anticipation.

Textured emulsions are unlikely to disguise the ripples. Re-skim the surface or use the dreaded artex!
