Securing Facuet Spigot for Garden Hose to Brick Wall

by fullerjp » Tue May 02, 2017 6:34 pm

Hey all, not sure if I should be here or in the Adhesives forum.

I have a water spigot for the garden hose on the outside of my house. It is attached to the copper pipe and through the wall. I was going to secure it to the wall using TapCon concrete scews, but the holes in the spigot to do this are too close together and I cannot secure it to the brick because of how the hole through the brick was done. It just crumbles away.

I was going to try and use some type of adhesive. The problem I have is that there is about a 3/8" gap between the brick wall and the flange around the spigot and I cannot push it flush to the wall. Anyone know of any adhesive that will fill the gap while securing the spigot?

Thanks!
