shower pump

Post by ericrw » Sun Nov 04, 2007 4:01 pm

I would appreciate advice as to what pump bar/type, I would need to install when I fit my new shower system. My present single headed shower is gravity fed from a cold water tank in the loft, which also feeds the hot water tank in the airing cupboard, I do not get a satisfactory pressure from this system. I'm wanting to install a shower system which includes a large pan head plus eight ( 8 ) body jets.I'm aware that I have to fit a pump; which will be dedicated to this shower but I need advice on which is the correct pump to fit. Advice much appreciated.

Best go to a specialist bathroom shop and choose a shower ( there are just so many good ones about), and they will be able to recommend the correct size pump.

Consideration must be given to the size of your header tank as it must hold enough water to supply the shower, and of course the amount of hot water available is crucial.

Both could very likely need attention.
