Hi, When using Emulsion from different paint manufacturers a sour smell appears after approx. 10 minutes. I know it is nor the paint as I started two rooms at the one time using the same tin of paint. The smell lasts approx. 2 to 3 days then totally disappears. This happens very time I paint the same 2 rooms.
There must be "something in " the plaster which is causing this. Has anyone in the forum any idea how I can prevent this from happening again. I have to repaint one of the rooms due to picking a wrong colour
