Sockets in skirting boards

by littleduck » Thu Sep 13, 2007 4:10 pm

I am buying a 1900 end terrace house, I had an electrical report done and it recommends rewiring which I will have done. I am just curious, do old houses often have the sockets located in the skirting boards?

Thanks,
littleduck
