Splitting up a garage

by trezza » Fri Jan 02, 2009 11:53 am

Hey, I want to split up my garage by basically just putting a wall in the middle. it's all brick with a corrugated iron roof and a bluestone floor. the garage has no door it is completely open to the backyard, what I want to do is nothing special and I could easily do it but the floor has an incline as you get further to the rear of the garage, the back area of the garage must have a flat floor as I will be doing some delicate work in there. All i want is an idea of how i can build this wall and flat floor as cheaply as possible.

thanks..

trezza,
Use tapered joists with chipboard ontop for the floor, studwork with sheathing ply fitted to it for the walls.
end
