can anyone tell me if my newly fitted stone shower tray be leveled with plastic wedges. tray is on a concrete floor. The wedges are clearly visible as the tray at front edge has a 10mm gap between tray and floor. thinking about filling the gap with rapid set floor tile adhesive.
errrrrr.... depending on the shower tray manufacturer/brand and the fitting instructions but most of all the shower trays ive fitted needed to be installed on sand and cement or cement based tile adhesive. This allows the tray to be leveled if the floor is uneven and also spreads the weight on the tray and users on the floor to stop any movement and cracking of the tray.
wedges might be uses as well as sand and cement but i dont see why you would need to.
