Sunvic By pass valve SBV22

Post by rick5408 » Thu Feb 12, 2009 11:25 am

I have just purchased this valve and the instruction leaflet says that I have to workout the Flow rate and differential pressure. It shows a chart with a Differential Pressure (bar) scale on the left from 0.1 to 0.7. Along the bottom it has Flow Rate (m3/h) from 0.5 to 3.0. I think I have worked out that 2.38 gal/H is equal to about 0.6 (m6/h). And on the right the scale of 0 to 7, the number on the valve to set. I know that the minimum flow rate in the boiler instillation guide is 2.38gals/min or 650 Lt/H.
Is there a formula to work this out or a simpler way to do it?
Boiler.
Ravenheat CSI 150N (T) Low Nox.

Any help much appreciated.
