We have moved into a new/old house with a gravity fed system. Typical storage tank in the loft and top floor shower with a generic type thermostatic bar shower mixer. The hot water head is sadly very low. The thing I find curious is that when the shower is turned on, nothing happens for perhaps 60 seconds, and then suddenly the water begins to flow and then the shower runs ok, albeit at very low rate of flow. Not sure if this might be a thermostat issue or perhaps a flow valve issue? Taps to the adjacent bath and basin all run as normal. Google searches don’t seem to reveal others with the same issue? Can anyone shed light on this? Many thanks
