Tiling Floor and Walls in En-Suite Bathroom - Which to Start First?

Post by Tony How » Wed Mar 04, 2015 4:50 pm

I am about to start tiling an en suite shower room. I have the walls and the floor to tile. I have been given conflicting advice as to which to tile first, the floor or the walls, which would be the best to tile first?

tile the walls first, if you do the floor first, you could drop something and damage it.

Many thanks, this is what I thought, but I was told the floor should go down first, something to do with water run off, but I think that is only needed (maybe) in a full wet room. As this is not what I am doing the wall will come first then.
