underfloor heating problem

by Jazzy » Wed Aug 08, 2007 3:27 pm

I have recently moved in to a new property conversion that has a wet underfloor heating system. On the few ocassions I have put the system on, I have noticed that the carpet has got wet in areas where anything - of any weight - is in direct contact with the floor.

Lifting everything off the floor is not an option! Does anyone out there have any idea what might be causing this? The sellers did not leave any instruction books and installation notes. Possibly I am doing something wrong in operating the system. Any guidance gratefully received.
