upvc window handles

Please can anyone help. I have a upvc window on which the handle is broken. I have purchased new handle but the original handles are rivetted in and not screwed. How do I remove the rivets and then could I screw new handle onto window?

Drill the rivets out with a hss bit,then replace new handle with self taping screws.I hope this helps you.
