I want to install an external socket in a domestic garden situation. I have a length of phase 3 armoured cable and a phase 1 external socket. Am I able to use this cable and if I can, do I have to adapt it in any way?
If you can use it or not depends on the size of the cable. What is its size? (You will find it printed on the outer sheath.) Also how long will it be from where it is connected to the new socket?
