i live in a semi detached house, and recently with these high winds had noticed a draught coming through where the skirting board meets the floor. i have now filled this with newspaper and the draught has stopped. now the problem is as the wind blows the carpet rises with the air underneath. could this be a problem with the airbrick in the front room being blocked and not letting the air out front the back of the house to the front
