Weather proofing car port with some sort of wall ?

by steve23 » Sat Aug 06, 2016 7:40 am

Hi all,

I have a 'car port' (or so its called) attached to my garage: its three single brick walls and a concrete base with a decent flat roof.

One end is open and shielded by a wooden lattice set up. (please see pics)

I want to do something to turn the area into a store room - does not have to be great, just better than what I have.

I guess a brick wall is the answer, but i would not trust myself to build it and dont know if the foundations are ok for that.

Any ideas appreciated - currently im at the stage of just nailing plywood over the lattice !

All the best

Steve

Why not screw some Perspex or polycarbonate sheet to your trellis. That way you will still let the light in .
