What central heating inhibitor should I use?

by Gary G » Sun Jun 21, 2020 12:00 pm

Could someone tell me what inhibitor to use for my central heating.
I have a main 24he combi boiler.
Not sure if I have an indirect system or not.
How do I tell?
Thanks

Hi gary g
Your type of boiler does not matter, try and find a label on your system which tells you what inhibitor has been used before. Otherwise you will have to consider how you can dose your system see what is available

I always used to use Fernox, but that has increased in price considerably over the years, a plumber suggested Screwfix’s own brand which seems to do the job ok at almost half the full price of Fernox.
