Hi, can anyone help? I just moved into a house and the mixer shower has no heat control knob. There are no markings on the shower and I can't work out what make/model/part I need to buy, or even which part of the valve the knob would turn if I had one. Can anyone tell from the photos what shower this is, or what I need to buy for it? Alternatively, is there an easy way of fitting a new valve without replacing the whole thing? As a last option - can anyone recommend a cheap mixer that would fit on the external pipes and be fixed to the wall in the same way so i could easily replace this?
I've attached photos of the mixer - the outer knob (at 1 O'clock on the photos) only controls the water on/off, doesn't affect temperature, and nothing else on the valve appears to turn (apart from the small central spindle to open it up - shown in the other pic). Can anyone help? Thanks!
