Newbie here - I hope someone can help.
I have removed the soil from between a retaining wall and my garage
My question is should I fill this 7 ft long x 7 inch deep x 1 inch wide gap with stones or pebbles? If I did they would be touching the garage wall one brick height above the DFP. Or should I leave it to breathe ?
It is situated on my neighbour's back garden literally inside a 7 foot shrub so would prefer a solution requiring very occasional maintenance and not to leave the gap open if possible because it will fill up again.
