My two thermostatic shower valves have inlet filters. After several weeks of use the hot water inlet filters get blocked with a creamy white gell that once extracted dries to a powder that looks like clothes washing powder. As it's a pain I'd like to fix this and cure the root cause. The hot water system I have is a mains pressure Heatrae Sadia MegaFlo system. Could anyone hazard a guess at where this may be coming from?
