Wiring Ceiling Light but now Light Always Stays on?

by jclancey4 » Fri Jul 27, 2018 9:46 am

Can someone help please? I have had a plasterer in and he pulled out all wires from new electrics with two lights in parallel that worked fine. I've tried to rewire but the lights always stay on, the light switch makes no difference. I've looked at many wiring diagrams but the problem persists.

I do not relish in saying this but it has to be said.
You have wired it incorrectly.

It would be of use if you could post clear pictures of what you have. I will also assume you do not have a multi meter? To not have one can be likened to wanting to hit a nail but you have no hammer.
