Wiring for a Proteus JBX4 RCD

by billy37 » Fri Aug 31, 2007 9:35 pm

Can somebody please tell me which wires go to which terminals in this box the Proteus JBX4 RCD
Instructions are not very forth coming. I am replacing an old switched fuse in a large shed.
The shed is wired up for a light and several sockets. Thank you

Hi Billy, the reason the instructions are vague is because you must be qualified to fit such devices, especially in an out building, so it's not necessary to give details as a registered electrician would know how!

Thanks sparx
Yes I understand what you say and I dont suppose my electricians apprentership 67 years ago is much use now. Could be a bit out of date!
As I have and still do most DIY projects for myself and others here in the UK I thought a simple job like putting a few cables in would be simple.
I think this is bureaucracy gone mad.
Regards Billy
