wiring spot lights

by sljx » Tue Dec 11, 2012 1:25 pm

hi want to wire 6 spot lights in my kitchen. there is currently two feeds from a 2gang switch both one way.

Want two sets of 3 spots on each switch. I was thinking i could wire feeds from switch into two seprate junction boxes and take 3 flexs to each spot.

Can anyone help? Thanks!!!

sljx,
It's unlikely that you will have LN&E at the light switch - you will need to check this.
If you do have LNE at the switch use this to feed the lights via a junction box using 1.5 T&E.
If the light switch is being used to only switch the L feed you will need to find where the looped in connections are and wire the spots from there.
end
