Just fitting new kitchen units and appliances. Have got round to fitting the ceramic hob and I'm a little stuck. There are 3 wiring options printed beneath the hob. The UK one - marked as 230/240V shows earth, neutral and 2 lives.
The 2 live connectors appear to be linked together in the diagram. However, actually linking them using 6mm cable is near impossible due to the physical size of the screw clamps. one 6mm cable is fine but obviously one of the connectors will have 2 wires to link to the second. This doesn't seem right and there is nothing in the instruction book to let me know whether I need to connect to 'either' of the lives or 'both'.
