Strugling to unblock shower drain

by Quinlad » Wed Sep 24, 2008 10:12 am

Hello,

In the month that I've lived in my flat, I've had persistent problems with a blocked shower drain.

I initially used Mr Muscle Drain Unblocker which worked for a few days (probably 30 minutes of shower time). The slow drainage returned and I unblocked again with the same product. On both occasions, I left the unblocker overnight.

A few days later it returned and it used the Domestos version and left it overnight. This had no effect. Drainage was still very very slow.

The other day I bought a cannister of PowerPlumber which worked for a while but the problem soon returned.

Can anyone suggest anything to help? What could the problem be?

I would advise you firstly to stop using that cráp whilst you still have some pipe left (especially if your wastes are plastic)

Are you sure its a blockage and not the fall of the pipe is incorrect?
