You Responsibilities for Water and Sewerage Pipes

Before you begin any large scale plumbing project it is worth knowing what you are responsible for and what is the responsibility of the water or sewerage company.

For Supply Side Pipes

The responsibility falls to the home owner for all pipes serving a single property that are on the owners property or are on land owned by some one else. Is a pipe is serving more than one property then it is the joint responsibility of all the owners served by the pipe, whether it is on the owners of the properties or land owned by someone else.
